$My favorite photos : All my photos on SmugMug are "favorites", in the sense that only a fraction of my photos make it to my SmugMug site, and obviously, those are the best. But from those, I've chosen a small group that I consider the best of my best. Every photographer knows that every photo taken has an inspiration behind it - something the photographer sees that he attempts to capture on film. But we also know, it eludes us more often than not. Some of these were chosen for successfully capturing that something, and some were chosen because my lens found the beauty that existed in the less obvious places. As someone once asked me, How do you manage to take beautiful pictures of ordinary things? I considered that a high compliment. If I were to display my photos in an art gallery, these are the ones I would pick! (which explains why pictures of my own artwork appear here - its the artwork, in those cases, more than the photos, that I'm proud of)$
