The flood situation is still with us. However, the Red River has dropped slightly from the crest. Hopefully the existing levees will hold without further damage.

Everyone is very concerned about a storm system that has the potential to drop 12 inches of snow on the area tonight and tomorrow. Let's pray the weather man is wrong. LOL
AlmostFamousPhotographers > popular all-time > Something a bit more normal today. These abandoned farmsteads are wonderful photo opportunities. However, in deep snow, there aren't a lot of opportunities for different composition. Best viewed xtra large!

Two other shots in gallery.

Thanks for all your comments on the pole art.
AlmostFamousPhotographers > popular all-time > There is a sepia version in gallery. I like this color version better. Thoughts and comments?

Have a blessed day.
AlmostFamousPhotographers > popular all-time > 2. Goats feeding in Argan Trees in Morocco 1(November 2007).
A photo where I made some serious alterations. I removed on The PC cables and utility poles.

As unreal as it looks like, there would be no way to create this picture on a PC. Just look at the goat on top of the tree.
The goat tree was spotted along the road from Agadir via Taroudant to Quarzazate.

AlmostFamousPhotographers > popular all-time > Spring isn't far off. The melt has started.

This is a lovely view....even prettier in the summer.
