on the quest of times gone by : on a gray and cold saturday morning, i came by this old train maintenance hall in germany, and did not step out for a couple of hours. it is absolutely derelict, with graffiti everywhere, but it's clean, miraculously. the colours are simply beautiful, and the architecture pays hommage to times long gone by. the hall is to let, but the cost of renovation is so high that it will probably just fall down, and then disappear one day.

Eastern State Penitentiary : Built in 1822-29 this prison housed a few famous inmates until it closed in 1970 and became a National Historic Landmark.
