Amritsar to Lahore intl. Bus Service 04/2009 : The by far easiest way to cross the Wagah border is by bus. When using a taxi, one has to walk over one mile between the checkpoints in dirt and heat. The police escort is B.S., except it allows the bus to race across 2 lane roads. Hence drastically reducing the travel time.
The cost in 2009 was around 20-25 US Dollars.
