In answer to the question, no I didn't arrange the leaves.  I found them exactly as you see them, cigarette butts and all.  (I almost never groom my photo subjects, beyond removing the odd twig or blade of grass.)

Color saturation...one of the benefits of viewing fall foliage through reflections on water.  There was no saturation applied to this image in post-processing, just exposure and contrast adjustments.

The last day of November, still autumn by the calendar, but foliage colors are all more muted, though no less lovely.
