2005 Escape to the Lake MS 150 Bike Tour : The 2005 MS 150 Escape to the Lake Bike Tour from Pittsburgh to Conneut, Ohio, June 11th and 12th. Photos from Moraine State Park, Meadville, Conneautville, and the finish in Conneaut. Sadly a rider was killed in an accident on this ride. Condolences go to friends and family of Drew Andrews of the FedEx team. This was my first attempt at shooting action shots of bicyclists, and since I used manual focus some of these are not quite in focus. Thanks to Ben L. for extra photos of the Dick's Sporting Goods team as well as shots from the road. Profits from sale of any of these photos will be donated to the National MS Society.

KRATATONG MBT #3, PHANG NGA THAILAND UPDATED : Kratatong, thailand mbt#3 15.12.2002 It seems so long ago, I happened into this race via the nicest people in phuket and took a trip over the mountain to this scheduled race. I got third, the previous year overall winner was first and the year winner before that was second. The thai's had that race xc thing going and I was bombing the rock gardens and jumping down a tranny to the delight of the crowds. A great race and afterwards the pickup had fruits, and some liver that the Phuket racers swore by. I passed on the possibly raw liver???!!??? heck it was in tupperware, not like it wasn't safe. I wanna go back, buy some pics and send me back!!!!!!!
