"BULDING A Home"
Photo of the Day, OCTOBER 22nd,2008....Please View this image in Larger format for better details.......This RED BELLIED Woodpecker stopped for a minute to look at my lens while he was trying to poke the hole in the tree for winter home...I knew he was there so i camoufladged myself and camera but he knew....These birds are faster then a speed of the light....shy and hiding all the time from a human eye....Captured with nikon 300 mm lens on the tripod...Waiting hours for him to come back..Nothing happen within a spare minutes and i refuse to shoot without tripod..no matter if the birds flying over my head or not....I like to set myself in a position and wait......So i go to popular places where birds are sided over the years and birdwatch .....But time is consuming....Enjoy it
