Birds > popular all-time > Faithfully leading predators away from the nest--I tried for 10 minutes or more to get this Killdeer to do the "broken wing" act. Apparently I wasn't close enough to the next as he (or she) wouldn't do it. I had to be careful because they don't next in trees. This one was on the edge of a gravel parking lot. If anyone uses a flash frame (like Stroboframe) to elevate their flash above camera, please contact me. Thanks. Have a blessed day.
Birds > popular all-time > Blue Jay, Evening Bath Does the BG look completely black, or are there splotches of green. My home and work monitors have different factory settings and contrast is radically different between them. Not sure which one is closer to true. If you see green splotches, that means my dailies have been lacking contrast 'cause I've been reducing it in post to match my home monitor.
