Bernard the Burrowing Owl, San Pedro, March 1 2009. Taken at ISO 1600 and a shutter speed of 1/8th of a second. Just after sunset he preens, stretches,flies to this post near his burrow, looks around for a bit, then takes off for a little night hunting. :o)
