USAC National Cyclocross Championships 2009 Thurs. 12-10 : Day 1, Thursday 12-10-09. Arrived shortly before the late afternoon 40+B race - a non-championship race, featuring well over 150 entrants! It was about 34 degrees, much of the course was frozen, but track conditions changed throughout each lap depending on whether there was sun or shade... ice, packed snow, loose snow, frozen turf, icy stairs, frozen run-up... wicked challenges all around. There's a couple short videos from the first lap at the end of this set. Enjoy!
