Prime Minister's lodge in Buea was built under the orders of Governor Jesko Von Puttkamer.It was begun April 1901 and completed on June 1st,1902.The architect was Government Officer of works-Regiermgbaumeister Schutz.It was fisrt occupied on June 8th 1902.The building with its contents and its grounds remain the best complete memorial of the German period in West Cameroon.
