Playing with HDR on this cover shot for gallery #4 in my Rural Cemeteries of SW Ohio series. I was finished for the morning as I walked to my car and turned around for some reason to get one wide-view look at the cemetery before packing it in. As I did, I saw this beautiful backlight illumination of the leaves of this tree marking the entrance to the Caesar Creek Cemetery in Warren County, Ohio. Check out the link to the full gallery and the other galleries in the series.
Annie Edson Taylor supposedly never cared for fellow dare devil Carlisle Graham. And he likewise. Here, Bad Annie shows her disdain for Graham. It's ironic that the two would end up next to each other for eternity, both in graves donated by the cemetery.
Good Annie and Bad Annie. Annie Edson Taylor was the first person to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel and survive. She did this on October 24, 1901 on her 62nd birthday. Annie was ahead of her time. Here two Annie's discuss her life by her grave in preparation for the Annie Edson Taylor Spiritual Connection to be held October 21, 2011. http://myoakwoodcemetery.com http://www.facebook.com/oakwoodcemeteryniagara
