Cities > popular all-time > Reflections, Como Park Conservatory; Saint Paul, Minnesota The Conservatory is one of Saint Paul's crown jewels. It was completed in 1915 and is one of only a handful of historic park conservatories remaining in the United States. The central Palm Dome is 64 feet high, making it the centerpiece of Como Park. The Conservatory was renovated between 1983 and 1993.

The dining car was built in 1937 by the Jerry O' Mahony Company in New Jersey. The car was shipped to St. Paul and opened for business on this same spot in 1939. It has been resisting the march of time and urban renewal efforts ever since. By the bye, it's not a real railroad car.
