Well , this may not be the best way to describe Paris, but I just gave a small try.I had this tiny Eiffel souvenir which I bought from Paris , so thought that the best way to picture Eiffel is by dropping it in wine. One of most beautiful things to experience in Paris is by going on top of the Eiffel and having a french wine at the dusk watching the sunset :-)

Greetings!!! Happy Belated Fourth of July!!
Well, I certainly have let life and my activities get in the way of any participation in this community for too long!
After my return from Sequoia National Park, we began final preparations for a party, here at our home, featuring an incredible and hilarious show by comedienne/singer/songwriter Kacey Jones. (out of Nashville) An excellent time was had by all !

I took this image just before the party began, of the fountain close to our front door!

If you ever get a chance to see and hear Kacey in person, go for it! Actually her CD's are great too, but you miss the facial expressions, and body language!
P.S. Irish.....tell me that you DO have drink holders like these!!?!

The occasional odd 'cat' among the dog shots ;-)
Had a very hot weekend... well I guess the weather is often not that what we really want :-)

DailyPhotos > popular today > Monday 6th of July, 8:00am: Botany Bay from Brighton-Le-Sands beachfront.
While waiting for a bus and with no time to cross over the road to the beach side, I took a few shots of the bay using the long end of my Sigma 28-200mm stabiliser zoom (28-320mm in 35mm format). The challenge was to take these in any breaks between the peak hour traffic. While attempting this, I suddenly realised that I could include Sydney Airport's air traffic control tower, which I had shown as a reflection in yesterday's post. Luckily, there was a plane on the runway, too. A minute or two after this, the bus came, and I was already sure that I had my daily shot.
