DailyPhotos > popular today > 10/10/08 Bicyclist at the Santa Monica pier at sunset. Taken with the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 that I rented! I've decided to give renting a shot so I can play with more lenses. I really wanted to try the f/1.4, but it wasn't available, oh well.

I'm sure y'all can relate to the feelings of frustration I experience whenever time constraints limit (or curtail) my 'time with photos'; whether it's actually taking them, or working with them in the computer. Grrrrr! At least my creativity is being expressed in yard projects! Maybe soon, I'll try one of Johnloguks two-photo collages, of before and after!? Blessings to all !

DailyPhotos > popular today > 10-10-08 Okay, folks, if you liked yesterday's colors, you'll LOVE today's! ;-) I saw this and it just blew me away, the colors were so intensely beautiful. Weird, too, they were the ONLY ones in the area that looked like this, most everything else was either still green or just the soft gold color. But there, standing out in all kinds of glory, was this fiery spot of red and orange and I just fell in love with it.
