okay so i lied about no more dailies for while. its all facebook's fault not mine! seriously! ;-) . they seem to have a limit of 420 characters per post, what's up with that? pretty limited for us erudite, NOT garrolous or pedantic take note!, folk who have the 'typin pneumonia, and the communication flu' , i got the rockin and boogie woogie types too but that's a whole nother story ;-) . anyway my doggerel was a whoppin 550 characters and was flatly rejected, as was my desire to have dedmanshootn included in my name listing there it would seem. i mean, since my dad's mom died anyway, no one anywhere calls me by my full given name, i'm just "dave" or "ded" tp [retty much everyone who knows me so how the heck are they supposed to fgind me on facebook without 'ded' in there somewhere? i'm appealing the decision of course. i get quite contentious when i have a migraine.... grrrr :-) anyway i hope you like this pic and i hope you like the doggerel and i truly shant be posting, or likely commenting much if at all, for a while alas. (this is obnviously another from my archive of pics for my planned washingron state gallery, also on hold for now i guess)
dedman the big ole photog
had a bright and shiny lens.
he used it for daily pictures
to delight and amuse his friends. (on smugmug)
now though his health is lousy
in his spirit he's still feeling great!
and hopes soon that he will rousey
he just doesn't know at what date. (maybe january)
perhaps one happy new years day
someone will look and say
"dedman with your lens so bright,
i like what you shot last night!" (it was a burgler!)
then ded will be so happy
you'll prolly hear his shout of glee
for once again there'll be ded's daily
to benefit posterity. (or afflict them)
yes, once again there'll be ded's daily
to benefit pos ter i ty!
