Las Posadas
Every year, our parish follows a traditional Mexican custom in which we follow Mary and Joseph through the streets of Bethlehem looking for a place to stay. The children dress up as shepherds and angels and lead the procession. Eventually, they lead us into the church where we open our hearts give Jesus a warm and safe place to be born. It's such a beautiful custom and the children really bring so much to it...even if they have short attention spans.
