Yellow Lantana... Much appreciate your views and comments, thanks! Critiques welcome... 29 August 2014
08.30.14 Still processing images from the trip. I had an achy, unfocused day yesterday. Followed by a terrible night last night. I am tired of cancer.
Encore azaleas Aug 29 My encore azaleas are flowering again, once in the spring and then an "encore" flowering in the fall.
08-30-2014 "Fallen Over" I don't know if the weight of the cap made this mushroom fall over or if it had been there a while. It caught my eye being in this position. Thank you so very much for your comments on my photos the last few days. I haven't been able to comment much at all on any of your photos because I've been on the road. Have another trip today. I will try to do some catch up with comments later. Donna
Day 23 - Panorama - taken along a road in Utah not too far from the dam at Lake Powell. I don't generally post more than one shot a day, but I wanted to participate in the panorama challenge that Art issued, although I had not had a chance to take any recent panos. I don't remember the exact number of shots included in this pano, but there were at least nine. As you can see, the scene encompasses both sides of the road. I combined them using Photoshop CS3. I did use a tripod. I have actually blown up one of my panos in a 13 inch x 65 inch size and framed it. ePengo printed it for me. This is not the one I had printed. I couldn't remember which gallery it was in.
Day 115 - Still life with brandy and roses; I've been shooting some still lifes over the last few days and this is one of them. The detail in the photo shows up much better in a larger size. It is supposed to be really warm today so my hubby and I may drive down the the Great Sand Dunes to take some photos. Thanks for all the comments on my Ice and Bubbles image. I'm looking forward to seeing all of your great images. Have a great day today!

I took this picture at an exhibition of Eduard Munch's drawings. Was awarded gold medal from our national Photographic Society
I waited for 6 months for the sun to go down in the midle of the road. Fortunately it did not rain that day. I brought a boy with me to wave good night to the sun. Suddenly I saw the birds comming from the left, and got them in "the decive moment".
Yesterday I woke up at sunrise. The sun was barely over the horizon at southeast. As I looked out of my bedroom window I saw this landscape to the northwest with the full moon as a golden coin. I at once grabbed my camera, opened the window even as the temperature was minus 10° centigrade and made some shots. Here is one of them. 10 minutes later the sun was well over the horizon, the sky was lit and the moon hardly to be seen.
