DailyPhotos > popular today > December 7, 2009 - "Sunburst Power"

Thanks for the wonderful response to the fence shot posted yesterday. It inspired me to do a "Galveston - Circa 1900" gallery done in the same antique photo style. The shots were taken one month ago on my trip to Galveston. The gallery is at

In todays photo I was trying to catch a sunburst, but somehow I picked up a reflection from the sunburst that I did not see in the viewfinder. The green dot is reflected off something on the deck. The dot shows up on a boarded up window. Maybe something mysterious is behind that boarded up window! Why shine a spotlight on that window? There have been some ghost related events reported around in Galveston.

This was shot at the East End Historic District in Galveston, Texas. The district was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1976.
