Woman sheltering from the rain under the awning of her schooner, Denny Island, BC. (better to see the rain lines at larger sizes)

I don't often use filters, but did use an angled strokes filter in this photo to emphasize the lines of the rain that was pelting down.....it is the north temperate RAIN forest after all!

Kayak Sunset

Our Omaha Camera Club had a little outing at Lake Cunningham tonight.

That's Tim out on the dock....A pair of lovers there in the kayaks....

Got a lot of new things going up on the site, got some great images tonight.....went kayaking.

Thanks for looking at my work!
19th June 2013.
Taken in evening light at the Seattle waterfront the evening I met Judy and Phil.
6/19/13 - Dale Chihuly installation at the Seattle Center; again, the room was almost completely dark except for the lighting on the installation. Like all of the shots of the inside part of the exhibition, this was shot handheld. No flash was used.

Thanks so much for your response to my street scene with the curly haired guy! I'm glad so many of you found it interesting.

"DAFFY"

"And then my heart with pleasure fills - and dances with daffodils." ~ William Wordsworth

Sharing a little sunshine................nothing says spring like daffodils!

SOOC, uncropped, no flash

I spotted this daffodil and a white one in our backyard after work on the day this was photographed. Although the sun was shining directly on this one, the temperature was 47 degrees. The white one didn't look so good.

Thanks for your comments on my "Lemon Meringue Pie" photo yesterday. Next time, I'll have to send you all a slice:).

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Daily Photo for Wed. June 19, 2013
I got ambitious and drove down the street to get some desert shots, good excuse to go to Safeway and get some ice cream! We topped out at 111 degrees here in the 'Ol Pueblo today. Notice the Saguaro has it's red fruit, a feast for the desert critters.
