Bobcat sharpening its claws on a tree branch I was surprised to see how cat-like bobcats (Lynx rufus) are. They are about twice the size of a house cat, have a whiskered face, black-tufted ears, and stubby tails, (the tail can seen in one of the other shots accessed from the link below) Several other shots of this photogenic bobcat can be seen here: http://goo.gl/08IkDg 02/08/14 allenfotowild.com

September 2, 2104 The hubby and I took a road trip on Monday to find and shoot the 4 remaining quilts throughout our county. This is the ninth in a series of 12 quilts located in Carroll County Maryland and part of the American Quilt Trail Movement. This quilt was very difficult to locate, we went to the address but couldn’t find the quilt. Turns out, our iPhone maps were taking us to a location no where near the actual quilt. I finally looked up the farm and we drove in that general direction, we spotted it by pure luck. We drove up to the farm and I had to get out a walk a bit to talk this photo. Out of nowhere comes this german shepherd looking dog. Too bad my husband didn’t have a video going, to see me running with my camera and jumping into the truck surely would have been a funniest home video! The Tulips in a Basket is located at: ZigZag Acres 1401 New Windsor Rd, New Windsor. Its actually off Rt 31. To see if the movement is in your town go to: http://barnquiltinfo.com

Ella. This is Ella our 127 pound female newfoundland. She is swimming in our pool - her second favorite thing to do - the first being eating everything and anything she can get.

Kurious Kestrel The word for Kestrel in German translates as "tower falcon", and indeed this kestrel is sitting on one of the Gothic decorations of the south tower of St. Stephan's Cathedral in central Vienna. A tight crop, handheld effective 560mm telephoto.
For Sept.2,2014 Confederation Park in the evening. She was dancing toward me and I smiled but her sister said,"she wants you to take her picture". The front shot was blurry but I know she'd appreciate even this after shot! She was cute and maybe 14 or 15. Lots of go cart, pool, sea do, boats , and swimmer pictures but I will torture you all week with them! It will keep summer here for awhile !!! Go Tigers!! They won!
Some golf course in Scituate, Ma. that I happened to be driving by after shooting sunrise.
