Post for 28/07/2014 We went for a short drive this afternoon in very hot, muggy weather. A watery sunshine , threatened thunder storms for later in the day. This is a fountain in the centre of a small town called Stoney Creek. When I investigated why a young couple were giggling and telling baby to stay in the water , I realized that this little puppy was out for his first water fountain swim! He doesn't look TOO impressed with it!
This week I will be doing a series of photos of Old Abandoned Trucks. Here is a couple of two Chevy pickups made between 1947 thru 1953.
07-28-2014 "Taking It Easy" This cat is very old and was just lounging around with not a care in the world. Thanks for your comments on my AT&T symbol. There were some wonderful symbols/logos yesterday. I appreciate the assistance on making my links smaller and will certainly give it a try. Donna
July 28, 2014 Female Common Whitetail in our gardens yesterday
1966 Mustang GT
July 28 2014 Water Lily In our pond. I was disappointed to see that there were only 13 entries in the logo challenge and also disappointed to be ranked last of 13. And I wonder why all of these very old photos are now part of "Today" on smugmug even though they have not gotten comments.
July 27, 2014 Tumbler Tomatoes Posted July 28, 2014 I am enjoying many sweet tomatoes from my patio plants!
July 28 2014 Hosta in bloom
Day 207: Peaches at Farmer's Market - July 28. New Jersey produce is beginning to come into the market and it was a treat to see beautiful freshly picked fruits and vegetables at yesterday's farmer's market. thanks to all who commented on my sundown skyline post yesterday.
Ventry Beach on a sunny afternoon
07.28.14 Broken Train Window Ogden Union Station Today. I see the doctor. Get blood drawn. Hopefully get infused. Should be home around 5pm. Sunday I was feeling better. Not BETTER, but better. My logo on Sunday was the Huntsman Cancer Institute logo. What else would I post. it feels like my life revolves around Huntsman. Jeddy arrives Tuesday. YAY! I am thankful for a 19-year old son who is giving up a lot, because he feels he needs to be here for me at this time in our lives. I am blessed. Listening to Jeddy's band's new CD. This is one of the things he is giving up, sort of, to come help me. Kidd Psycho was splitting up anyhow because Austin --most vocals, song writer, etc--got a scholarship at Berklee in Boston and Taylor--guitar--got a scholarship to the Santa Fe school of the arts. They are both heading off to school soon. Kerry--drums-- is a senior this year at PAPA in ABQ. Jeddy plays the bass in Kidd Psycho--but he plays any instrument he picks up and sings :-) I believe a couple songs are more Jeddy than Austin. One goal while here is to work on recording his own solo CD--but he is leaving all his contacts behind in ABQ. They had this CD professionally recorded and mixed. I'm the mom, but I think they did a terrific job. Take time to listen: http://kiddpsycho.bandcamp.com/album/that-thing-we-made-that-one-time
Green bean blossom, from our veggie garden... I have a few more airshow shots to share but first I need to do some editing. Will post as soon as I can. Thanks for your support, much appreciated! Critiques welcome... 28 July 2014

Blif is a little annoyed to be distracted by a photographer
June 30... A 250 year old house of a sea captain. The two dogs in the window have a special meaning: When they were looking out of the window the husband were at sea, when looking into the house he was at home and her special friends should stay away.
