What does (Jimmy Buffett )say.
Work, work, work
Big pile of it and the boss is a jerk
Just want to disappear
Wishin' I was somewhere other than here

Livin' for the weekend
Jump right off the deep end
With just enough money to buy
 A LICENSE TO CHILL AND I BELIEVE I WILL

A long work week and long hrs, But long weekend coming up

Another in the farming series, this John Deere tractor is in charge of raking the cut hay into wind rows for the baler to take the next step.

According to the anthropologist, Nancy Sullivan: "Relations between men and women were managed almost entirely by magic. Without a love charm to arouse and create desire, desire does not exist to the Dobuan. Men and women mate, he (Reo Fortune) reported, only because men are constantly exerting magical power over women, and women over men. But this custom made men and women wildly jealous of each other. If their own natural charms were not enough to draw and hold a mate, then they were constantly searching for and testing out counter-magic to deflect competitors and win over the wayward affections of their mate. Needless to say, the pursuit of happiness was anything but peaceful. It created malicious rivalries with suspicions of poisoning and even death between rivals, lovers, spouses and their families.

5/23/13 - Along Hwy. 26 in the Palouse near the town of Colfax. As we were approaching this old overpass, I realized that I could possibly use it as a frame ffor the landscape beyond. It is kind of an odd image, but I'm fairly pleased with it.

Thanks for your warm response to my shot of the rapeseed (canola) in the Palouse. There were so many wonderful pics on smugmug today....I'm really honored so many of you took the time to comment on mine. I won't be able to post or comment for the next two days, as we'll be traveling and won't have access. Hope you alll have a great couple of days!
22.05.13 - Swan Triplets

As promised here are some more shots of the baby swans down at the Old Fishponds. It turns out that there are only 3 cygnets, there probably were more originally but nature is hard on these little guys.

Here is a very different looking baby from the same place;
