Friday, August 29, 2014 "SOLE SHOES" 6:15 a.m.: I noticed that two of my previous posts (February 26, 2012 and May 15, 2011) are reappearing today in the dailies - and some of yours, too. I only wish the person who thumbed mine would post a comment for identification purposes. 8:26 a.m.: Thanks, Morgan Fractals (May 15, 2011 post) "Beyond anything exterior (hair, nails, clothes, shoes, jewelry, makeup, etc.), in my opinion, a woman's spirituality - her relationship with God - is of the utmost importance in how authentically elegant and beautiful she really is. I wear the compliments and criticisms of the world as a loose garment. I know who and whose I am and in whom I believe. For me, external validation is simply an additive, not a necessity." ~ God's Child (Me) This one is for my colleague Shelia, another shoe fancier who wears some of the most eye-catching very high heels. The heels of these shoes are as tall as I can wear them. Anything taller, and I shudder to think what my feet would feel like at the end of the day. Are shoes art? Can art be shoes? I love art and shoes, so this collage depicts the best of both worlds of a very, very, very, very select few of the hundreds of pairs of shoes in my collection. I have small feet and I like quality shoes, so finding a pair in my size (and buying it in every color).......well, you know the rest of the story:). I've owned three of the pair for years, but have not worn them. Can you guess which three? Additionally, I have always loved to give; therefore, in my lifetime, I've given away hundreds of pairs of shoes to people or charity. "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." ~ Luke 6:38 (The Bible, KJV) According to Christian Dior, "You can never take too much care over the choice of your shoes. Too many women think that they are unimportant, but the real proof of an elegant woman is what is on her feet." The lineup: Proxy (floral) - a favorite J. Renee' (lime green and metallic gold stripes) Timothy Hitsman (teal and lime green) Fashion Influences (red, gold, and green) J. Renee' (royal blue, sky blue, green, and magenta floral) Have a "soleful," high-stepping," and funtagious Friday! 08.29.14 New BLING! While we were at the West End Celebration I had Indigo and Jennifer on display. I talked with a woman who each year does an AVON walk and she gave me this key chain. I really think Texas is ahead in sending BLING! My last chemo infusion is coming up--of course, you can still send BLING!as long as I am receiving treatment--my guess is thru the end of this year. But Indigo needs to be covered in BLING! The address is Tina Gardner, 4094 So. 950 W., Riverdale, UT 84405

10-30-08 Natural lenses A tiny spider web and a misty morning give so many lenses ! Hard to keep every drop sharp and to focus on the picture given through the drops ! This one came out good enough among many other shots. Can you see what was behind ? ^^
28.08.14 - The Fountain We spent several hours set dressing for a big day filming on Saturday, which I will probably reveal on Sunday, I took this shot during our lunch break in the nearby Arboretum. I've photographed this park and the fountain many times, but it hasn't featured in the Dailies for a long time.
August 29 2014 Be careful I posted this one last year http://smu.gs/1Ca9fAQ but noticed the employee signs yesterday.
08OCT2012 Milling Around Dell's Mill aka Clark's Mill with some Fall foliage all lit up in the morning sun......Great place, scenic area with lots of barns to shoot as well. Image won First Place in the "Travel Category" n4c.us in October 2012, submitted through the Omaha Camera Club. Comments are welcome, lots of Wisconsin images to upload....have a great day! Dan, sorry we didn't know you lived there....great area.
August 29, 2014 We have several bunnies that live on our property. I loved the light through this little one's ears. I spent some time in Arlington (Dallas) yesterday getting my sensor cleaned. Rick at Arlington camera is awesome! He cleaned my sensor while teaching me to do it. Definitely worth the 2 hour drive AND the spots are gone! I feel much better about doing it myself in the future now. We are expecting storms today. Hoping they bring some much needed moisture Have a great Friday Jeanne

Sunday, May 15, 2011 "ANTIQUE CHEVY" (pp version) "Keep calm and drive a Chevy!" ~ Unknown Author Linda (aka Lgood) is one of the absolute best at capturing automobile shots and their reflections, and I immediately thought of her when I spotted this GM classic. Unfortunately, there wasn't an information card, so I am unsure as to the year of this "oldie but goodie." My hubby's guess is it's a "1930 something Chevy." The pink sign made spectators chuckle. It warned, "UNLESS YOU ARE NUDE.....PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH MY CHEVY! BUCKLES, BELTS, AND BUTTONS SCRATCH." As you can see, I did some pp with this one, but it is uncropped. God is and has been exceptionally kind to all of us; have a blessed and safe Sunday, everyone. Collage Posted Aug. 29, 2014 I wanted to learn how to do a collage in Photoshop. This is my first effort. This is for Week 8 of the 52 Week Project.
1-16: Thursday morning we woke up to thick fog again. It lasted till about noon. I was able to go out on my lunch break and take some shots along the river right after the fog lifted. The fog had frozen to the tree branches and bushes. I was able to get some shots before it all melted.
