The autopsy revealed Rory had an enlarged heart…..I could have told them that. Busy lives tend to keep us from thinking of the time we have left here on this planet.….maybe the next life has you knowing a predetermined end date and some requirements of you while being there…..your faith set you free. Forty nine years old Rory told me his tales from his life, his struggles and strife, he painted quite a tough life….he apparently got done what was required of him here. Waiting for the train….we have all done it, mostly as an inconvenience or as a mode of transit they impact our lives. The rush of the wind as the locomotive passes either on the platform or in the siding still caused a smile from Rory each time we went out to shoot……the long breaks between trains turned to conversation and laughter….friendship. Rory and his wife Jenifer are both members of the Omaha Camera Club here in Omaha Nebraska, Rory shot with a Sony camera. Linda and I met him at the train museum in Council Bluffs Iowa…..wandering aimlessly around the dead steel out front, he kept getting in my images as i moved around. I finally went up to meet him and gave him my card and the club card as well told him to send me an e-mail after looking at my train images on my site….two guys New York born in Council Bluffs Iowa. What a way to go…..naked, dreaming... with the woman you loved laying next to you……Christ saved all your luck for the end my friend…..please sign me up for that one Rory or drop a note in the comment box for me…. Like so many days this past year…..i would end up down at the tracks with Rory. This was the evening the sun comes down on the tracks that are situated east and west here in Omaha, Rory is getting a great shot here at Seymore.
April 15, 2014 Sticking with the crab theme from yesterday. Looks like crab season has arrived, YAY! Maryland Blues! Nothing better.
04-15-2014 "Bunny Pedicure" Yesterday Sutton and her friend, Lily, were volunteers at an annual event called "Horses for Handicap." Horse owners bring horses to our fairgrounds area and schools bring some of their special needs children and they can ride horses. There is also a petting area and this is where the girls work when they are there. We were there early and this bunny was getting a pedicure before the children arrived. I have many photos from the event and will be posting others. Your comments on my tulip yesterday as well as all my photos are greatly appreciated. Thanks for your continued support of my photography. Donna
Looked in my crystal weather ball... Saw cold and wind and that's not all. Saw two plus inches of snowy fall, And icicles to top it all. DP105-2014 Posted (late) April 15; created from photos taken the same day. All I can say is that it was a demented groundhog that predicted a mere six more weeks of winter on Ground Hog Day. More like ten weeks. Yikes! Ann Arbor, April 15, 2014 (Title: Winter Wins Again!)

July 5 ... From a flowerbed. Over the next 3-4 weeks we are getting a lot of family here and are visiting friends elsewhere, so my postings may be a little sporadic. Hope to be able to comment on your fine pictures
February 25... Beach #7. Hope you are not getting tired of pictures from my beach. If not I have a few more to come. I am proud that a TV station has shown 2 of the previous beach-pictures at prime time.
