W for Winter and low sun over the North Sea. Kresten Refslund
I waited for 6 months for the sun to go down in the midle of the road. Fortunately it did not rain that day. I brought a boy with me to wave good night to the sun. Suddenly I saw the birds comming from the left, and got them in "the decive moment".

2-02: This is another from Saturday's sunset. Several people have asked if the colors are real (natural) in yesterday's. It was taken as three bracketed exposures but only at -1, 0 and 1. Then combined in Photomatix. Then final processing in Capture NX2 (mostly brightness and focus adjustments) I didn't change any colors. I did actually have to desaturate a little because the orange and reds tend to be over saturated sometimes. I used the same processing on today's post. This one was actually taken a few minutes before the one I posted yesterday, so the clouds are more orange than red or pink

2-12: Back after being very sick for almost a week. Wednesday morning I finally felt good enough to get up and take some pictures. This was taken a few minutes before sunrise on the Collindale golf course.
The Journey begins... Please accept my apologies if I do not get to your shot right aways. Please let me explain. Taking care of my mom is virtually like taking care of a toddler. She can only take a few steps and she has to have diapers. I giver her meds to her, I get her up and in the wheelchair to take her to the dinning room to eat. She can feed herself so that's good. Basically when she needs something I have to get it. So if I don't comment right away I haven't forgotten you I'm just in the middle of something. Have a GRATEFUL day. and smile... *
"The Road to Color" 10/16/08 While Driving today I got stuck behind a SLOW POKE on the only single lane road leading out of town and was getting frustrated so I jumped off onto this small fire road and was shocked by the colors in this tunnel like ride. it was raining pretty good all day today so there was no sun and nasty puddles everywhere but I was able to snap this by opening my sun roof and sticking the D300 out on constant focus and shot it while doing about 10 mph. I was amazed by the composition I was able to get since I was in the center of the road and being above the car it gave me some extra height then the usual eye view, I think it worked out pretty well LOL. In post I did a minor contrast adjustment and small crop off the bottom, that's it! I'm enjoying the colors here now but I see them disappearing very rapidly so I'm going to try and get some shots everyday now until their gone. It's supposed to get very cold here starting tonight in the 50's as a high during the day and low 40's to high 30's at night Brrrrrrrrrr. I got some other shots from today to process yet but I will be putting them in my Fall Colors 2008 gallery when there finished. Hope you all enjoy your day, Bill Pador

Engagement Fantasy, Houston TX Rachel and Ryan have a fantasy love story that can only be told with an equally as fantastical engagement photo! Thank you Rachel and Ryan for sharing your fantasy with me! And thank you Sarah Williams for letting me tag along! Rachel and Ryan mentioned they really like colorful photos, so I created something much more colorful than what was there at Hermann Park in downtown Houston. All of the foliage you see in the frame was green! I changed it to orange/red/yellow using Photoshop CS6. I also added the sun flare light in the background. The goal was to create a photo that the clients will love, while staying true to my brand. What is my brand? Well I’ve been trying to narrow down my branding words, the words that I want my photos/website/logo etc to convey, and I’ve come up with: romantic, dramatic, fantasy and artwork. I think this photo meets all four of those words after processing, but was only romantic straight out of camera. What do you think? Critiques are always welcome. Dramatic Beauty, Houston TX Colleen and Jonovan’s downtown Houston wedding was one of my favorites of the season. The bride was gorgeous, Jonovan was a great sport, and most of all, everyone had an amazing time! Thanks to the amazing Sarah Williams for bringing me along! This is a classic bridal portrait. I’ve seen this type of photo in a lot of pro wedding photographer’s portfolios, so I started planning this shot when we were shooting details outside the window! When we got inside and saw the nice vertical lines, the composition and lighting was simple! Colleen’s natural grace and Sarah’s posing tips did the rest! My fan asked about my new gallery style for my daily gallery. I’ve switched to journal mode so that the gallery looks more like a blog. You can still comment by clicking the photo, and clicking the “show details” button right above the photo (near the middle). I like the journal style better because it shows all of the photos in large size, which is how I think they deserve to be seen! I also have ulterior motives. The blog button on my new website currently links to my daily gallery, so I want it to actually look like a blog. I might change it back once my actual blog is up and running. So much to do! UPDATE: My site is now live at www.paulbellinger.com! Yea! I got the domain I wanted originally. It became available over the weekend and I snatched it up! Critiques are always welcome. June 11, 2011 This is the same abandoned station where the marching line of gas pumps were found. You can see that shot posted on June 5th here if you missed it. I know many of you have seen it because of the wonderful comments which are very appreciated. http://lgood.smugmug.com/Other/Daily-Photos-2010/12484643_ezMcC#1367630283_kkxm8S9 This is another set of gas pumps that are older in style, and were in front of the abandoned station. As I mentioned before, there were 100s of pumps around this place. It was so cool. And here's an old sign that was in front of this old place- http://lgood.smugmug.com/Other/Signs/7752337_483tx//1061733754_#1376000970_H7MsspG This was such a cool place and it brought back lots of memories for me from days gone by. I hope you all enjoy it. Linda
