September 2, 2015 I'm not sure what this piece of art is called, as there was no information posted, no name and no artist. We saw it in a small cemetery near Palestine, Texas. It was on a tall concrete pillar and pretty much at the front of the cemetery. Nevertheless, I couldn't resist stopping to take a photo of it. If anyone knows it's history, I would appreciate you sharing. Thanks for your comments and critiques. Have a glorious day today! Linda http://lgood.smugmug.com
9/2/15 - Beets, Carrots and Lettuce at a fair-sized farm stand in Maine. Thanks for your comments on my shot of to older man taking a nap on a public lawn in downtown Boston.
01.09.15 - Run for Joy It isn't just me that loves running out in the fields, Willis always gets a big smile on his face no matter what the weather. The threatening sky was another of those that looked a lot worse than it was, we barely had a drop of rain

September 2. 2015 Any idea what type of horse this is?
I took this picture at an exhibition of Eduard Munch's drawings. Was awarded gold medal from our national Photographic Society

Old lady at sunrise
Yesterday I woke up at sunrise. The sun was barely over the horizon at southeast. As I looked out of my bedroom window I saw this landscape to the northwest with the full moon as a golden coin. I at once grabbed my camera, opened the window even as the temperature was minus 10° centigrade and made some shots. Here is one of them. 10 minutes later the sun was well over the horizon, the sky was lit and the moon hardly to be seen.
I waited for 6 months for the sun to go down in the midle of the road. Fortunately it did not rain that day. I brought a boy with me to wave good night to the sun. Suddenly I saw the birds comming from the left, and got them in "the decive moment".
