June 2, 2015 Here's another closeup of the new growth on the Prickly Pear Cactus. We should have some flowers soon! Yay! Have a great day! Thank you for your comments and critiques. Linda http://www.lgood.smugmug.com Late Post: Thanks everyone for noting that I dated the photo early this morning a couple of days ahead. I guess, I was wishing it was Thursday already, so I'd be going home tomorrow. But alas, it's only Tuesday. Nevertheless, thanks and have a great day!!!
Nice teeth Caiman (Caiman yacare) in the Rio Cuiaba, basking with an open mouth, giving me a good view of its mouthful of teeth Other photos from the rive can be seen here: http://goo.gl/IvstZG 02/05/15 www.allenfotowild.com

Day 151: New Jersey Strawberries - May 31. Love fresh strawberries. One of these packages was destined to be the star in a strawberry -blueberry shortcake dessert for me.
Wheeeeeeeeeee!!!! Jun 2 Sometimes being a bird looks like fun!
6-2-15 Image is from 1973 Scanned from Kodak 120 Film
Boat Over Water This is NOT a picture of a boat being removed from the waterway for non-payment of the annual license fee (although I wish that more such boats were removed). It is a picture of a freshly 'blacked' (i.e. bottom painted) boat being returned to the canal. They had to empty the onboard water tanks before the boat would stay level in the hoist. So until next year... (providing I can save enough to afford the trip)
01.05.15 - June! Well the first day of June was disappointing weatherwise, cool and windy, and eventually very wet. Apparently a heat wave is on the way though :) There is a little dog in the shot somewhere!
Tuesday, June 2, 2015 "THE TRANSFORMATION" (Crab Apple/Crabapple Blossoms) "I like words like transformation, reinvention, and chameleon. One word I don't like is predictable." ~ Naomi Campbell Amen to that quote; I certainly concur! My hubby alerted me to the color change of these blossoms from bright red to white in the front yard of the same home where the tree was photographed that was my Daily Photo on Thursday, April 30, 2015. At that time, the crab apples were mostly red. Five days later, they were white, as shown here. Did you spot the busy bees flying? God and Mother nature are amazing and neither of them ever cease to amaze me! Have a terrific Tuesday! (photo taken and PM's frost effect applied 3/30/2015) My Homepage: www.GodsChild.SmugMug.com
August 18, 2013 F is for Fire!!! One of Bill's experiments with 50 lithium batteries in thermal runaway . Not able to comment, having too much fun on vacation, but will get caught up next week! Linda
06-02-2015 "Standing Pretty" This beauty was standing by the stream. Traveling to Pebble Beach, CA and hope to find time sitting in airports to comment. Thank you for your comments on my photos. Donna

06.02.15 This is El Jay's current bestfriend. He saw me playing in Picmonkey and asked to embellish his own image from the Renaissance Fair. Yep, it definitely has that Tween boy feel to it. This could be the Princesses future prince charming, ya know?
