03.04.15 We got snow. EL Jay and I built a couple snowmen. The idea was to "dress" each one in my foto booth props. But then El Jay had the idea to build them behind the car and run them over. So we did. We had a lot of fun.

June 24... This is an exact replica of a Viking ship," The Sea Stallion", built with the same materials and tools as the original, which was built in the year 1042. It is 29 meters long. July 1st 2007 65 "Vikings" were onboard again and sailed north of Scotland and the Orkney Islands and on August 15 it reached Dublin, Ireland. The reception in Dublin was considerable warmer than it was year 1042 when it was there. After huge quantities of Irish beer it set off for home. This time south of England. The route was planned considering prevailing wind-conditions.
Day 062: Tulips in a Vase - Mar 3. Snowing, raining - just plain messy here. Picked up a few tulips this morning when I was in supermarket. Really want to learn how to use textures. Can anyone recommend a good place to get a few to start out - either free or inexpensive?

A B&W moment, by Mother Nature Mar 3 Nothing like a fresh snowfall to transform the ordinary into something photogenic!
3/4/15 - Full moon on a snowy night; I took two shots...one to get a decent exposure of the trees and another to get the moon properly exposed. Then I cut out the moon and moved it to replace the other moon which was overexposed. It was almost a full moon, but not quite. Thanks for your comments on my shot of the icy lace. I really enjoy reading your comments every day and am so happy to have such good friends with whom I share a passion.
Cinnamon is a spice obtained from the inner bark of several trees from the genus Cinnamomum that is used in both sweet and savoury foods. Wikipedia Thanks for your views and comments! I thought today's had a little better composition...any thoughts? March 3, 2015
03.03.15 - Bus Station It was very windy yesterday and so on my guided photo walk last night we took partial shelter in the bus station while experimenting with long shutter speeds. It was a lot of fun, amazingly I've never tried this before, and I'm surprised that no one came to ask us what we were doing
