Wedding couple by wall of Emperor Anastas (c500AD), Durres, Albania For those of you who have been enjoying the Melanesia series, some small-minded person doesn't want them posted and has knocked the pictures of the beautiful innocent girls from today off the Smugmug site. I hope you will still go to my daily photo site (http://www.allenfotowild.com/DailyPhoto/Daily-2/29222656_jmvQKV#!i=2534847109&k=hprmgtz&lb=1&s=A ) to see what has offended them. I am now seriously considering finding an alternate site for my photos as I don't like the kind of games that some pea-brain is playing!!
Daily Photo for Sunday May 26, 2013 The Mammillaria House - On my recent trip to Bach's Cactus Nursery in Tucson I got side-tracked from my mission of buying soil. I could stay here for hours, but with the outside temp at close to 100, being in a greenhouse is almost unbearable! Needless to say trip to the sauna is not necessary. Thanks so much for the comments of recent, I have been falling down on the commenting side of the Dailies, seems like all I can do to find a shot to post!
Light Writer, Houston TX This little cutie was doing her best to send off the bride and groom with a spark! I am so grateful to the amazing Sarah Williams for letting me assist her on this and all the weddings we’ve shot together this year! Sarah is awesome! This photo is straight from the camera, using the same speedlite and slow shutter technique I’ve been posting about the last two days. The speedlite freezes the action while the slow shutter captures the movement of bright lights, such as the sparkler. Sarah and I love experimenting with these kinds of shots every chance we get. 25.05.13 - Horsing Around Here are a few shots from the "Horsing Around" medieval event in Lincoln Castle this weekend. It is a lot of fun, 2 days of it left for anyone that couldn't go yesterday, and the weather is set fair too.
