February 1, 2015 As most of you know, I'm rather hopeless with identifying most flowers and plants (not to mention birds), so I'm not sure what these lovely blooms are. I kind of think they might be Peonies, but that's a total guess. I would welcome an expert's opinion of what these lovely flowers are. This is another photo from Butchart Gardens near Victoria, Canada. It had been raining hard before we got there, and then it changed into a gentle mist. We braved the weather & it was so worth it because this place is totally amazing. If ever you are near Victoria, Butchart Gardens is a must see place. Thank you for your comments and critiques. "Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" ~ Douglas Adams I wish you a bloom filled day of beauty my friends! 2/1/15 - The bar in the Hacienda Colorado Restaurant; you probably all know how much I like shooting in low light bars because the lights on the bottles are usually pretty neat! Thanks for your comments on my shot of the grass seedheads laid low by the hoarfrost. This morning they were standing back straight up!
