1/27/15 - White gumballs Thanks for your comments on my shot of the broken auto glass. What happened in the accident, which I did not see, was a car came along and tried to turn on ice and slid into a neighborhood transformer box, a telephone company box, and a light pole. It snapped off the light pole. The glass is from some damage sustained by the car. Every day I walk past this spot and just decided the glass looked neat.
An alternate view of the 1948 Talbot-Lago T26 Grand Sport Coupe. This car participated in many rallies over the years including the Liege - Rome - Liege. A plate, of the type shown, would have been mounted to the front of the car during the rally. This plate is mounted on a stand as the owner believes in keeping his cars original and has been unable to locate any of the plates used during the rallies.

Fisheye view of our woodstove.... One of the add-on lenses I was given for my iPhone - plus a wide angle, a macro and a telephoto. They are lots of fun to play with, just wish I could get outside and really put them through their paces. 01.27.15

November 7... Autumn forrest
January 28... After a frosty night Blif and I had one of our daily walks. Although he had experienced snow and frost for the first time last year he had apparently forgotten all about it. As you can see he is unable to understand why he can't pick up interesting stuff even when he can see it.

Jan.26. Red-bellied Woodpecker showing its tongue. The tongue is so long it forks in the throat, goes below the base of the jaw, and wraps behind and over the top of the head, where the forks rejoin and insert in the bird's right nostril or around the eye socket.
