Daily Photo for Sunday May 26, 2013 The Mammillaria House - On my recent trip to Bach's Cactus Nursery in Tucson I got side-tracked from my mission of buying soil. I could stay here for hours, but with the outside temp at close to 100, being in a greenhouse is almost unbearable! Needless to say trip to the sauna is not necessary. Thanks so much for the comments of recent, I have been falling down on the commenting side of the Dailies, seems like all I can do to find a shot to post!
25.05.13 - Horsing Around Here are a few shots from the "Horsing Around" medieval event in Lincoln Castle this weekend. It is a lot of fun, 2 days of it left for anyone that couldn't go yesterday, and the weather is set fair too.

May 26th 2013 -Hmm this is tasty.. I saw this dude (at the Dingle food market) .. I was hungry all day thinking about him.. Then I went to Murphy's Pub for dinner and yes they had Hake on the menu.. it was delicious
2013-05-25 Downtown Freeway I'm feeling better and my wife's away for the weekend so it seemed like a good time to rent a lens and take lots of photos. I picked up a 14-24mm f/2.8 from Bel Air Camera and took it to downtown this evening. I walked around some of the freeway overpasses looking for a good shot, and this was my favorite. [last year]
Light Writer, Houston TX This little cutie was doing her best to send off the bride and groom with a spark! I am so grateful to the amazing Sarah Williams for letting me assist her on this and all the weddings we’ve shot together this year! Sarah is awesome! This photo is straight from the camera, using the same speedlite and slow shutter technique I’ve been posting about the last two days. The speedlite freezes the action while the slow shutter captures the movement of bright lights, such as the sparkler. Sarah and I love experimenting with these kinds of shots every chance we get.
