12-26: Another from the golf course on Wednesday morning. There was a heavy frost on the trees which, in this shot, was helping to pick up a glow from the sun.
11-05: I was driving around south Fort Collins in an area I don't think I've ever been and I actually got kind of lost for a while. The street ended at this pond so I stopped and took a picture. Yesterday was cloudy with dark clouds that looked like rain clouds - very unusual for this time of year in Fort Collins.
05.02.10 - Eclipse We had a big orange hazy sunset this evening. I was trying to avoid my usual big sky type of sunset photo, so I put the long lens on and had a play around with silhouettes. This one took my fancy :) There is a slightly different version here; http://www.lightanddreamsphotography.com/Photography/INSPIRATION/10329875_Lpojy#781730475_NvGeX
Reminisce
Sunlight - I had to wait that the sun settle a bit before shooting this one. I wanted the tree to glow. Cheers - JY
June 30... A 250 year old house of a sea captain. The two dogs in the window have a special meaning: When they were looking out of the window the husband were at sea, when looking into the house he was at home and her special friends should stay away.
Sunday, May 15, 2011 "ANTIQUE CHEVY" (pp version) "Keep calm and drive a Chevy!" ~ Unknown Author Linda (aka Lgood) is one of the absolute best at capturing automobile shots and their reflections, and I immediately thought of her when I spotted this GM classic. Unfortunately, there wasn't an information card, so I am unsure as to the year of this "oldie but goodie." My hubby's guess is it's a "1930 something Chevy." The pink sign made spectators chuckle. It warned, "UNLESS YOU ARE NUDE.....PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH MY CHEVY! BUCKLES, BELTS, AND BUTTONS SCRATCH." As you can see, I did some pp with this one, but it is uncropped. God is and has been exceptionally kind to all of us; have a blessed and safe Sunday, everyone. 'Blowing Bubbles'...03/30/2011... Getting a tiny bit closer to where I would like to be...had about 30-40 minutes yesterday to roam about the yard...found this and a few other things...
Rails
A view of my yard after a winter snowstorm - this is one of a small file of photos that I discovered this week on one of my external drives that had never been processed. I processed them and added them to my "Snowy Days" gallery this week. We actually have not had this much snow at one time this year. THIS SHOT REALLY NEEDS TO BE VIEWED IN THE LARGEST SIZES. Thanks to those of you who commented on my shot of the froggie in the window. And another weekend is here and I hope you are able to enjoy yours. Cheers!

3.10.09 - Ghost in the Machine Ghostly goings on at Gainsborough Old Hall. I've had this idea ever since I found out that this was called the "ghost corridor", so while I was trapped inside the PC I thought I'd have a go at creating this. It is the first time I've experimented with layers in this way, maybe I should have made Lydia even more transparent, but hey I'm sure I'll try this again. Those of you that haven't already seen my gallery of the Hall might want to check this out; http://www.lightanddreamsphotography.com/History/GAINSBOROUGH-OLD-HALL/9662694_gb4gb#652216254_Fyruu Thanks for the wonderful response to my silly SP yesterday, it was a lot of fun making that :)
Hootie! This poor little owl was knocked out of its nest by a bunch of crows! I will be taking it to a man tomorrow, that specializes in Birds of Prey.
