Prayers for Indigo and family. My gull is from Bayfront park and I like the light , details, and the calm look in his eyes. There were many of them , who all seemed intent on basking in the sun. 22/09/14 Sorry for our twin shots TS. I'll be looking forward to seeing your gull. They are gorgeous!
21.09.14 - Armistice Day 1918 Yesterday was our last "proper shoot" for Tell Them of Us, only a couple of small pick-up shots to get once we have some autumn colour in the trees. It was a big day of bitter sweet emotions, and a huge cast of extras as we turned Thimbleby back to the day the villagers heard that war was over. The church bells rang for the first time in over four years, which brought people out onto the streets to celebrate. Everything seemed to go well, even the weather was kind and it only rained when we had a break for lunch! Now director/producer Nick has the tough task of editing down all the footage to about 90 minutes of coherent narrative. I can now finish off the behind the scenes photo book and get the last images for the Centenary Stitches book sorted out. Oh and there is also the small matter of putting together the exhibition to run alongside the film at The Collection Museum in Lincoln during November, and all the associated publicity campaign, so we haven't quite finished yet :) P.S. If you have time please check out my Daily from yesterday, only one person saw it for some reason and it was a very different one for me :)
I have returned from White Mountains. Every year we take the kids to an amusement park near North Conway. It's called "Story Land". The kids love it. He re's their website - just in case you're a little curious about this place: www.storylandnh.com This is a shot of a signal light and engine at the Conway Scenic Railroad. Happy Monday! 09/22/2014
09-22-2014 "Old Workhorse" I'm willing to bet there are many miles on this old tractor. I'm not sure why the black plastic is covering part of the engine. We saw this on the side of the road and had to stop so I could get a few photos. I got some of the cars behind it also that I will post. I appreciate your comments on my photo. Donna

20.09.14 - Quarry Dancer Believe it or not this is the same guy that featured in my Daily yesterday dressed First World War soldiers uniform! Reece Ackerman is one of the stars of Tell Them of Us, but his real passion is dancing and yesterday we shot some sequences for his show reel in a local quarry. Never let anyone tell you that dancers are soft, dancing bare foot on a quarry floor takes some guts!
Day 262 Farm Market Display - Sept 22. A feast for the eye and the tummy at our Sunday Farmer's Market yesterday. Seems like yesterday that I was photographing and enjoying the first strawberries of the summer and all of a sudden no more summer fruits - fall is here. Apples, pumpkins, squash soon to be the stars of the market.

050211 Tree in Shohola Falls Long week last week with the shutter failing on my Nikon D50 and computer problems at work. Took a drive to Delaware Water Gap over the weekend to get away. Trying to adjust to my D60 but I liked my older camera.
