March 11... Beach #9. This is the last Beach-picture for now. I still need to include some summer-pictures in the series, so I have to wait 3 month to finish this job . If you look at the horizon line you will see a number of windmills. We have a lot of offshore windmill parks around our country and they produce 20 % of our total power consumption and this percentage is increasing from year to year
2-12: Back after being very sick for almost a week. Wednesday morning I finally felt good enough to get up and take some pictures. This was taken a few minutes before sunrise on the Collindale golf course.

Day 37 - Love Thank you for all the great comments. I was quite nervous taking this set of flower photos for a wedding catalog because the flowers were to be used for a wedding the next morning. The client was rushing me in worries that the flowers being out of the refrigerator too long and its losing freshness. It was my first job shooting flowers commercially and that was quite an experience, to say the least.
2-02: This is another from Saturday's sunset. Several people have asked if the colors are real (natural) in yesterday's. It was taken as three bracketed exposures but only at -1, 0 and 1. Then combined in Photomatix. Then final processing in Capture NX2 (mostly brightness and focus adjustments) I didn't change any colors. I did actually have to desaturate a little because the orange and reds tend to be over saturated sometimes. I used the same processing on today's post. This one was actually taken a few minutes before the one I posted yesterday, so the clouds are more orange than red or pink

Wednesday, April 23, 2014 "SPRING FEVER" “It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want—oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!” ~ Mark Twain SOOC, uncropped, flash fired Thanks for your comments on my "Pretty, Poised, and Pink Azaleas" photo yesterday; it ranked #2 for the day. After photographing Classy Sassy (the duck), in her Easter garb, I decided to tour another nearby neighborhood for photo ops. I spotted this tree and the surrounding flora and loved the setting. It was such a beautiful day. I spy the letter "O." Do you? Have a wonderful Wednesday! ***#4 photo of the day*** (photo taken 4/19/2014) My Homepage: http://www.Godschild.smugmug.com
