Optimal illusions In this image of Lower Antelope Canyon, (#15) there are two optical illusions. At the lower sizes, at the center left edge, the illusion switches between the upper (lighter) part of the cliff being in the foreground and the lower (darker) part of the cliff being in the foreground. At the lower right edge, the illusion switches between the lighter vertical cliff being in the foreground and the darker vertical cliff being in the foreground. It is only are the largest sizes that it is possible to work out the actual geometry. Other photos from Lower Antelope Canyon can be seen here: http://goo.gl/9xDlOj 20/10/14 www.allenfotowild.com
Autumn dolls
October 20, 2014 Black Walnut Point Inn - A Tilghman Island, Maryland Bed & Breakfast A secluded gem, this Maryland private island estate has been sealed off by Russian spies, the first Gulf War was planned in the sunroom, and Truman Capote was a guest in the 60's. Now the sanctuary gate secures the half-mile drive through 52 acres of bird sanctuary before opening to our 6 acre island of gardens and lawn. The sun rises over the Choptank River and sets over the Chesapeake Bay, which make wind, waves and endless water views the hallmark. A pair of nesting eagles, resident osprey, migrating butterflies, waterfowl and songbirds are commonly seen along with Bay dolphin; and the back cove is a spawning grounds for rockfish. At night the stars are uninterrupted, another surprise of nature, making lodging at Black Walnut Point Inn a quiet, secret place of peace - all just an hour and a half from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. http://www.blackwalnutpointinn.com/index.htm

Here in West Texas in late September for two weels recieved a total of 6 inch of rain. Badly needed after almost 4 years of drought. Still far behind, but better than nothing at all. The only thing that can survive the heat is Catus, Yucca plants and Mesquite bushes. Now you see Wild flowers blooming everywhere, it's just like a garden. I see this a lot in Colorado where I live, but here where I am taking care of my Dad, is strange to see this much wild flowers.
