Thanks for all the comments on yesterday's daily... I'm quite surprised since I thought it was not that good when I took it...

DailyPhotos > popular today > Life is a Wave

The storm at Bandon, OR this weekend was amazing! The power of the waves was exhilarating. We stayed safely far above it at the overlooks. When we got home we heard there was a tornado that came inland at Lincoln City. The weather was clear on Saturday morning, but this was as the storm was beginning to roll in.

Taken at 24mm (widest lens for my 5D2), struggled to get this much in shot as my back was right up against the slipway doors.

Commuters stand waiting outside the Ion Centre on Orchard Road.

One of many wonderful works that you'll find on the Streets of Singapore. Really inspirational to me !

probably only known as 'chief' by me - we both played baseball, coached middle school softball together, and still love to watch baseball games and baseball movies, we both grew up loving movies and also managed a video store together so our conversations are often salted with movie references - as its something of an inside joke but also respect. he served three and a half years in viet nam including acting as a forward radio control for a heavily hit helicopter company in the aborted invasion of laos, see the book 'into laos' if interested in history, and served well in many other units and places also over his two decade career. i'm grateful to him and all those who serve with honor. he's a good man to have on your side and my first choice for a daily for this veteran's day. (shot this as we ate lunch a while ago, the shirt was from a recent trip to south dakota with his sis)
