Day 166: Pink Rose Closeup- June 18. Thanks for all of the conmments on my nesting Killdeer photo posted yesterday. I went back yesterday afternoon to check on her and she was still on the nest. I don't know how long she has been incubating the eggs so no way to know how many more dayys before they will hatch.
Post 989 3.24.12 Working on images from an event I shot last night at a local Country Club... The late afternoon sun was spilling into the room as I tried to get a few table shots before the guests arrived. I really loved the richness of the colors of these flowers..they were beautiful centerpieces. I really enjoy event photography.. lots to edit from the evening and had a SMUG photo shoot at The Coal Piers today that I'm eager to start editing, too.. I have lots of new images, though, so I should have some photos to be able to share here on the Dailies in the coming days. Thank you for your generous comments on my shots posted in the last week.. You are very kind and your encouragement always means so much! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Power transportation is a challenge. Maybe we should generate it closer to home.

A view looking along the Whirlpool River towards Whirlpool Peak, Jasper National Park, Alberta. I took this shot in late May a year ago, unfortunately under a very bright and harsh mid-day sun. It's looking westward, so it really would be something early in the morning with the glow of sunrise lighting up the peak. Next time! Posted 2013-06-18
