Ballet Portfolio : This is a selection of images taken for various ballet and dance companies in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area. My speciality is theatre photography and I particularly enjoy the challenge of low light photography. Having been involved with ballet for many years, I have a good understanding of the importance of poise, composition and timing and hope you can see this reflected in my images. Laney College Dance Recital 2009 : First of all, I have finally released all my photos of this event. From May 17-18, Laney College in Oakland, CA presented its dance recital called "The Way We Dance". Numbers of students displayed their learned skills, versatility of styles, and passion for the dance arts to standing room only audiences in the Performance Theater. I hope that my photographs of this event captures what each student has been striving for which includes a strong performance, colorful detail, creative expression, and beauty of the art. Please, re-visit the site periodically because I am always making improvements on pictures. I apologize if these photos were not on sale because I have an agreement with Laney College.
