CUSTOM HOME AFTER FIRE - SUN CITY : After suffering a severe fire, the options to rebuilding do provide opportunity to make what was into something much better. The loss of one’s possessions is traumatic but things can be rebuilt to provide better than what one had, from a ‘habitable’ or ‘structural’ viewpoint. Initially this home was 1,160 SF with a 2 car carport. The needs of the family and the size of the property allowed for an expansion that will meet all the needs of the family. Due to the fire and damage incurred, the entire structure was demolished but leaving the existing foundation as part of the reconstruction. A total of 1,311 SF of habitable space was added and the new 2 car attached garage is 586 SF. The use of solatubes provides more light in the specified areas. The features of this home include 3 bedrooms with the master bedroom suite being on the opposite side of the home, a large storage room, 2 bedrooms on the other side of the home. The main bath has a roll-in shower. Closets are large and the laundry room serves as a location for the water heater and water softener. The patio cover is of a size for all to enjoy when the previous one was smaller. FAMILY ROOM ADDITION WITH PATIO COVER - SUN CITY GRAND : This project is Phase Two. First phase was the golf cart/workshop (http://dougaphs.smugmug.com/COMPLETED-PROJECTS/GOLF-CART-GARAGE-SHOP-ADDITION/30032994_5XCz3p#!i=2580411098&k=SrfkG5q) This phase requires expanding the existing family room with a vaulted ceiling and providing a much larger patio cover.
