![8-24-08 Little Naches : Finally got to ride Naches this year, might be the only time!
We parked at road 1913 on the jeep trail crossing and unloaded. I had been wanting to to ride 941 to the west end for a long time. We had a great time and saw many other riders on the trail as well. I even bumped tires with someone going the other way, good thing we were both paying attention or it could have been bad.
When we got to road 1914 the trail looks like it crosses the road down a steep bank so we went down it but the trail stopped shortly after at the end of a overgrown skidder trail. There was a intersection on the trail right before 1914 that went up the hill that I will have to try next year.
After the dead end trail I wanted to take Steve up to Pyramid Peak. Glad we did it was a nice view and the clouds had not blown in yet. We returned to the truck using fr19 to save time loaded up and headed to 1708 Milk Lake road.
We unloaded right before the new begining of the jeep trail. We went up the hill climbs on the far left side and it was loose and dry. We took a left at the top a little ways and checked out a cabin that has fallen part over. Then turned around and headed to Funny rocks.
Lots of Jeeps playing there, we watch a few guys climb up and decided to go ahead and ride trail 1350 to Manastash Lake.
That trail seems to have gotten a little ruffer then last year but maybe it was just me. The lake was as pretty as ever and some people were fishing. It was getting late so we back tracked and headed to the truck. It was a nice ride.
