> Is this a black swan?
 > In the center of Bibury, as in many Cotswold villages, are many buildings covered with Virginia Creeper or ivy.
 > Bibury is a beautiful village on the River Coln, 9 miles from Burford in the Cotswolds. Here you can see the bridge over the River Coln. William Morris considered Bibury to be the "most beautiful village in England."
 > I doubt if there are signs indicating "Historic Church and Toilets" anywhere but in England. Now is this meant to imply that the toilets are also historic?
 > In Bibury, a sign points over the River Coln and water meadow to a picturesque row of weaver's houses called Arlington Row, in the adjacent tiny village of Arlington, named after the Arlington family with settled and owned the town.
 > Here the Cotswold limestone is even more honey-colored.
 > In the 14th century, Arlington Row was a series of storehouses for wool manufactured at the Arlington Mill, and then converted to weaver's houses around 1780. It is currently owned by the National Trust, which leases the cottages to residents. Owners and renters must abide by strict standards in regard to maintaining the appearance of historic houses.
