The Cotswolds May 09 : Some shots of a spring week away in the Cotswolds. It is as beautiful as the brochures say! For once a great week weatherwise as well. I suppose some of the shots are a little "chocolately" - but it's that sort of area.

Whitley Bay & St Mary's Lighthouse - Nov '08 : The first snow arrived so I headed for the coast! The sea around Whitley Bay and St Mary's Lighthouse. As well as being about 0 degrees Centigrade there was a strong onshore breeze whipping the waves up......and I had this new 70-300mm lens to try out!!

Alnmouth : Alnmouth is a beautiful Northumberland village a few miles east of Alnwick. I finally managed to drag myself out of bed to catch the sun rising over the coast. The 6am start was certainly worth the wait. The other pictures were taken the same day using the great soft and low early morning light. Hopefully a nice record of a crisp February morning.
