EuropeanTravelers > popular all-time > Széchenyi Chain Bridge.  Opened in 1849 and is of the more popular landmarks of Budapest.  It was the first permanent bridge across the Danube.  The original bridge was destroyed during World War II.   It was then rebuilt and re-opened in 1949.
