Working House Fire 18 William Street, Mine Hill on 12.23.08 : Firefighters from Mine HILL,New Jersey,responded to 18 William St. on a reported house fire. As the first arriving units had heavy smoke was showing from a 1 1/2 home. The house was vacantat the time of the fire. Mutual aid was requested bringinh units from Wharton Fire Department to respond as well as a FAST Team from the near by town of Dover . The was brought under control in about 1 hour. The cause of the fire is under investigation

LAFD PHYSICAL RESCUE Winnetka & Parthenia, Northridge Dec 27, 2008 : Northridge - Several cars were involved in a violent traffic collision at the Intersection of Winnetka & Parthenia. LAFD Engine 104 first Unit on arrive to the scene requested a Physical rescue assignment due to 2 people still trapped inside a car. Both persons were extricated in about 10 minutes and transported in critical conditions to Northridge trauma center. The pictures on this website are taken mainly for the Firefighter community. Firefighters use them in Training, education, Investigation and documentation of a specific Incident. Structure Fire - IBM Building #3 - Arlington FD, IBM Emergency Control, New Hamburg FD, and Town of Poughkeepsie PD 12-25-08 : Arlinton,New Hamburg,IBM Poughkeepsie Emergency Control, and the Town of Poughkeepsie Police operated at this fire that occured in a facilities building located on the roof of IBM Building #3 at the IBM Poughkeepsie Main Plant on Christmas morning. With heavy smoke on arrival, firefighters ascended to the roof and quickly doused the flames.

Mine Hill, NJ House Fire 18 William St. December 23, 2008 : Mine Hill, NJ firefighters responded to 18 William St. on a reported structure fire. Upon arrival heavy smoke was showing from a 1.5 story wood frame dwelling. The dwelling was vacant and for sale according to the sign in the front yard. Mutual aid was called immediately for the Wharton Fire Department to respond as well as a Rapid Intervention Team from the Dover Fire Department. The was under control within 1 hour. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. (Note: The temperature during the fire was 11 degrees) All photos by: Adam Alberti
