NEWARK, NJ SIGNAL-11 14TH AVE. AND S. 11TH ST. 2/7/10 : Newark firefighters responded to a reported fire in a vacant 2.5 story at the intersection of 14th Avenue and South 11th St. Upon arrival Engine 11 reported a working fire. Heavy fire was visible from the rear of the structure. Members of Engine 11, 18, 6, and 7 placed multiple handlines into operation and made an aggressive interior attack. The bulk of the fire was knocked down within 15 minutes. Deputy 1 transmitted the Signal-100 (Arson) on the fire. No injuries were reported however UMDNJ EMS stood by at the scene. just Added **Newark, NJ   fire   corner  of  14th Ave  & S.11th  street  on  2.07.10 : On Feb 7,2010 Shortly  before  4:00am   The Newark  Fire  Dept  was diaspatched for a  reported  fire in a  vacant building  at  the  corner  of 14th Ave & S.14th  street . Apon arrival of  the  fire dept  Heavy  fire was showing to the  rear of  the  building  on  the 2nd  Floor . This  fire was quickly  knocked down  within minutes  as  the  temp was in  the mid teens

January 28, 2010 Dwelling Fire in Reisterstown : Shortly after 10 PM on 1-28-2010 Baltimore County 911 Center received a call for a dwelling fire on Berrymans Lane in Reisterstown.  Fire Box 56-1 was sounded, bringing companies from Franklin, Reisterstown, Owings Mills, Liberty Road, and Glyndon.  Engine 56 arrived with fire showing.  The house was a "Geodesic Dome".  Two tanker strike teams were called since the house was located in a non hydrant district.  Tankers from Garrison, Gamber, Boring, Arcadia, Hampstead, Chesnut Ridge, Sykesville, and Winfield responded.  No injuries were reported.  One of the occupants is a Member of the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company.
