Trooper 7 Fly Out & An Ambulance Accident in Hollywood 9-16-2007 : At 1432 hours Station 7, EMS Station 79 (Hollywood), and EMS Station 19 (Leonardtown) were dispatched to the intersection of Three Notch Road and Jones Wharf Road for a Motor Vehicle Accident. Rescue Squad 7 responded with 5 volunteers and arrived on the scene at 1435 hours to find a two vehicle MVA with one person trapped. The Squad crew went to work to free the patient from the vehicle while Engine 72 set up a landing site for Trooper 7. The patient was extricated within minutes and the patient was loaded in the Trooper. While the patient was being extricated command requested an additional ambulance to respond to the scene because of 3 other patients wishing to go to the ER. While en-route a Lexington Park Ambulance was responding through the intersection and was involved in an accident. Chief 7 responded to the scene of the second accident along with Engine 74. Rescue Squad 7 picked up from the first accident and responded to the second one while Engine 72 remained on the scene with the landing site. Rescue Squad 7 and Engine 74 arrived on the scene to find a minor accident involving an ambulance. One patient was transported priority 3 from the second accident and units picked up and returned to quarters at 1534 hours.

Indian Bridge Rd, Truck Roll Over With Fly Out 7-14-2007 : On July 14, 2007 at 3:23 AM, Bay District Volunteers from Company 9, Leonardtown Squad 1, Company 19 and Medic 1 were dispatched for a reported motor vehicle accident with the vehicle overturned in the area of 22175 Indian Bridge Road. A sheriffs deputy confirmed that a vehicle was on it's side with one patient trapped. Chief 3 and Chief 1 arrived on scene and advised responding units that the patient was trapped and was suffering from a head injury and had difficulty breathing. Engine 92 arrived on scene and initiated vehicle stabilization on the directions of Chief 3 and pulled a hoseline for protection. Squad 1 arrived and began extrication operations while the crew from A-197 began treatment and stabilization of the patient. Helicopter transport was requested from the scene and Trooper 2 was dispatched. At 3:53 AM the patient was extricated and transported to the landing zone. All units cleared the scene and were back in quarters at 5:02 AM. E-73 provided coverage at Station 9 while Company 9 units were tied up on scene.

3 Vehicle Accident with Roll Over, Fly out & Arrest on Pax. Beach Rd. 7-15-2007 : On a sunny and hot Sunday afternoon on July 15, 2007 at 1411 hours, Bay District Volunteers along with Hollywood Fire, Hollywood EMS and Solomons EMS were alerted to a motor vehicle accident with vehicle overturned on Patuxent Beach Road in the vicinity of Kingston Creek Road. Command 9 with Captain Jeff Bixby at the wheel arrived on scene and advised incoming units that there were three vehicles involved with one overturned. All occupants were out of the vehicles upon arrival of fire and EMS units and the volunteers spread out across the area to treat multiple patients. EMS personnel determined that one patient needed a helo medical evacuation and Trooper 7 was then requested. Engine 91 and Engine 92 provided coverage at the scene for the helo landing sight while Solomons A-839 treated and transported the patient to the landing zone. Hollywood A799 transported one patient to SMH while A-796 assisted with patient care and signed refusals. Chief 9b, then Chief 3B held operations while Captain 9 held command. All units were clear of the scene by 1449 hours.

Accident on 235 near Hollywood Fire and Rescue with Fly Out : At 1549 hours numerous reports came in of a vehicle overturned in the area of the Hollywood Fire Department. At that time Company 7, EMS Station 79, 19, and the Medic were dispatched as units quickly responded. Moments after dispatch an Ambulance from Company 79 along with Chief 7 and Chief 7A arrived on location. With the Squad en route Chief 7A advised there would be two subjects trapped in the vehicle. As Squad 7 arrived on location the two subjects freed themselves without any assistance from the Fire Department. Chief 7 who established the Command advised there would be two, Priority 2 patients and the helo was quickly added to the call. Engine 72 with the Engine Captain responded and was diverted to the Landing Site which was handled at HVFD. Trooper 7 flew one patient priority 2, to PGGH. Chief 7 held the Command, as Engine Captain Brady held the Landing Site. All units cleared at 1615 hours.
