RANDOLPH, NJ 2ND ALARM 3 FARMSTEAD COURT EAST MAY 20, 2013 : Just after midnight on May 20, 2013 Randolph fire fighters were dispatched to 3 Farmstead Court East on a reported garage fire. Upon arrival heavy fire was showing from a 1.5 story ranch type dwelling. A second alarm was transmitted. Tower Ladder 43 went in service with the aerial as heavy fire raced through the attic of the home and burned through the roof. Multiple handlines were also working the fire from all sides of the structure. Mutual aid responded from Mendham (Brookside Engine Co.) as well a R.I.T. from Chester and Netcong. The fire was knocked down with 40 minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation. **Note - Heavy fog and smoke banking down made for adverse photographing conditions**

Willimantic 3rd Alarm+ 05-16-13 : Willimantic 3rd + Alarm 05-16-13 Around 18:30 Willimantic fire was dispatched to St. Marys Church for smoke coming from the building. First due found heavy smoke coming from the building, In a short time a 3rd alarm was requested. Crews made entry to with a 2.5 hose line to attack the fire as 4 towers and a ladder set up. After a while the conditions deteriorated and command evacuated the building and went defensive with master streams. The fire ran the roof line for several hrs, the master streams held it in check. After several hrs, crews were allowed to re-enter the building and to work the hot spot. Local and State Fire Marshals are investigating.

05-19-2013 Ridge OT William Floyd Pkwy : Accident occurred on southbound William Floyd Pkwy., just south of LIE (Rt. 495) in Ridge. Occurred Sunday, 05/19/2013 at approx. 4:20 p.m. Young woman traveling southbound of Floyd lost control and overturned her Jeep Cherokee. She was transported by Ridge F.D. ambulance to a local hosp. for treatment. Chief Mirando III (5-22-30) was in charge of the scene. SCPD officers from the 7th pct. were also on scene and the Jeep was righted by SCPD ESU.
