2008 08 Galápagos FINALISTS : The Amaz!ng Adventure 3 (TAA3) was a voyage through the Galápagos chartered by The James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF). The JREF Galápaguenos gathered in Quito on August 8. On August 9, we toured Quito. On August 10, we flew to Baltra (via Guayaquil). From there, we journeyed through the islands of the archipelago. There were morning and afternoon hikes, and opportunities to snorkel. This wondrous place was an inspiration to Darwin. It's the world's finest zoo with no cages! And to spend a week touring it with 100 fellow skeptics was truly a joy. Pics of my (in another album) feature the smile that never left my face that week. We left the islands on August 16 with richer spirits and thousands of pictures. Here are the best of what I saw.
